MY WORK
I'm interested in the communication of visual forms between the artist and the viewer and how they are expressed and perceived. The images I create throughout my work comprises of fragments of reality reflected on the light-sensitive materials. Seemingly insignificant and uninteresting, on closer inspection they acquire another layer of meaning constructing the pretext for multiple, often very personal interpretations and transformations.
Optical illusions were always very inspiring to me as photography is an optical illusion itself. I’d like to push this perception further in order to explore an ‘alternative reality’ and how this affects us at different stages of our life. As everybody perceives the world differently, everyone interprets it differently as well. To me artwork is a play of solving a mystery. It requires exploration, analysis and interpretation. I would like to explore the subconscious and its impact on the everyday life.
